To support PDG implementation, the California Department of Education contracted with the Santa Clara County Office of Education to convene a series of workgroups to gain an understanding of the need for local-level integrated data systems and to figure out how a state-level Early Childhood Integrated Data System (ECIDS) could best support state, local, and regional data needs.
