The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) has launched a two-year initiative to design an Early Childhood Education California Teaching Performance Assessment (ECE CalTPA) based on the Early Childhood Education Teaching Performance Expectations (TPEs). This performance assessment is specifically designed to assess the teacher permit level TPEs. The success of this initiative is dependent on the broad participation of approved early childhood teacher permit preparation programs. To express interest in participating, ECE teacher permit preparation programs should complete this survey.
